Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Domed stud/ mount of six-lobed or sexfoil rosette form. The tear-shaped lobes or petals are defined by grooves, radiating from the centre. The rear of the mount is hollowed and was attached using an integral, square-sectioned rivet now damaged. The face was heavily gilded with no evidence of gilding on the rear.
