Roman samian jar, black coated
Small jar or beaker with black coated surface. It is made up of a number of non-joining fragments reconstructed into a complete vessel. The form is a rare D66, a small wide-mouthed, narrow footed vase invented by the potter LIBERTVS of Lezoux.
