Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded foot-rim, bulbous sides moulded with to either side raised vine leaves and grapes, cylindrical neck, beak spout, a band of raised moulded leaves around the exterior neck and spout, angular scrolled handle; the exterior body of the jug covered all over with silver lustre which has then been decorated using silver resist techniques with the moulded vine leaves and grapes and the moulded foliage around the neck picked out in white, to the front of the body below the spout a floral motif issuing spreading sprays of flowers and foliage, a small floral motif ti the underside of the spout, further sprays of foliage to the body below the handle, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim, a wide silver lustre band along the length of the handle.
