Figure of the Prince of Wales astride a horse facing right, white earthenware with a slightly crackled blue tinted glaze, on a narrow elliptical base, inscribed in gilt raised capitals. Figure largely white and gilt, in contemporary dress of black shoes, white trousers, white jacket with the top button done up over a white waistcoat and shirt, white necktie, naturalistically painted face with blue eyes and black hair, seated astride a stepping, gilt spotted horse with black hooves mouth and eyes, the Prince turning to face the viewer, and resting left hand holding reins against the base of horse's neck, right hand by his side holding a white top hat on the horse's back, horse on rough ground with two clumps of extruded grass.
