Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Vase, hard-paste porcelain, inverted egg-shaped body spreading into a circular base, with a high cylindrical neck that has an everted rim, two side handles are moulded onto the vase before travelling off the body in curved scrolls; the neck and the base are decorated with a pink ground and overpainted with a continuous border of puce-coloured leaf motifs, the edges of the rim and base are gilded and the rim is decorated with a continuous border of leaf motifs in puce, a gilt leaf border is painted around the bottom of the body, one side of the vase is reserved with a picture of Windsor Castle in a landscape framed by gold bands and the other side is painted with a large leaf motif in gold, the handles are decorated and lined with gold.
