Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Sweetmeat dish, of two conjoined components, each of small saucer shape; creamy pale buff earthenware, standing on rough, uneven bases, with spreading sides, flaring and ending in everted lip rims, the two dishes roughly moulded to join together in the centre, the rim of one overlapping the other, the undersides being pinched and moulded to form a continuous side to the dish so that the whole object is oval in shape: the one dish with a thin, honey yellow glaze to the interior, the other, extensively restored and over-painted with mustard coloured paint.
