Bronze Age gold ring
Middle Bronze Age gold penannular ring
Site Name: St Nicholas & Boverton Community,
Notes: Discovered during archaeological excavations linked with the A4226 Five Mile Lane Improvements road scheme. The two artefacts were found in association with a human cremation burial placed in a small and isolated cremation pit (feature 536, fills 537 & 590). The burial was excavated and removed from the ground after having first obtained a Ministry of Justice licence, permitting the careful and respectful removal of human remains.
