Basin, hard-paste porcelain, circular, everted rim, footring; the inside rim is decorated with a wide gold border and the outside of the rim and the footring are decorated with a gilt line border, each side is reserved with a panel containing a painted landscape in sepia and green, outlined with borders of gilt ornament and framed by rose sprigs against a blue ground.
