Copper alloy horse harness pendant.
The pendant is shield-shaped, with an integral circular attachment hoop at the centre top.
On the front of the pendant is a raised design of a thick central band, bordered by thin lines and set diagonally (top left to bottom right) across the face. Each half of the divided shield contains three small rampant lions facing left ( six in total).
The lion and band design are in high relief. It is likely that the face would have contained enamel in the recesses of the design, although none remains.
The back of the pendant is plain.
