Launched 1943 as LYON G.TYLER by Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyards Inc., Baltimore (engine by General Machinery Corp., Hamilton, Ohio), but completed as SAMNEBRA and chartered to MoWT, managed by Cayzer, Irvine & Co., London. 1947 – Sold to R.B.Chellew Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., Cardiff, and renamed PENTIRE, managed initially by F.C. Perman, London, and by Baden H. Roberts, London, from 1948. 1955 – Sold to Cia de Nav. Gaviota, Panama, and renamed CUACO, managed by Barber Steam Ship Lines, London. She was broken up at Hirao in 1963.
