Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Cabinet cup, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, good translucency with a slight bluish green tinged glaze inside cup, and inside foot. Straight sides with a gently flared rim, standing on three moulded lion paw feet, moulded C shaped handle, upper end forming a coil and rising above the rim, the lower end terminating in a mask. Painted with three small vignettes of ruins in landscapes, each set within a half wreath of gilt flowers and leaves; below a band of ornament comprising green paterae and gilt scrolls, separated by panels of pink seaweed and green monochrome fruit and leaves. Gilded detailing to the paw feet, around base, around rim and outlining handle and mask.
