Label stuck to skull "Found in an ancient burial ground named Capel Towyn near Rhoscolyn. The shells and bit of blue stone were found with the bones enclosed ina grave covered by the sand - the sides and bottom built of rough stone, the top open."
Site Name: Tywyn-y-Capel, Anglesey
Notes: Found on the site of an Early Medieval and Medival chapel where the burials were eroding out of the sand dunes. Modern excavations have been carried out by the University of Central Lancashire in 2002.
