Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Distinguished Service Medal awarded to Sergeant Glyn Griffiths on the 4th March 1941.
Llandudno-born Sergeant Griffiths flew Hawker Hurricanes of No.17 Squadron during the Battle of Britain, July-October 1940. He destroyed at least six enemy aircraft.
The museum also holds Sgt Griffiths’ flight log books (Accession Nos 90.75H/8a, 90.75H/8b & 90.75H/8c)
