Powder stock book (1941-1957), used at the Gilfach Ddu offices, Llamberis. Gives monthly details of the stock held of various types of explosives, including gunpowder, Antislak, gelignite, Burrowite, caps and fuse, and notes the monthly quantity used. Attached to the front fly-page is a copy of a letter, dated 24/6/38, from C. Cooke, on behalf of Cooke's Explosives (Penrhyndeudraeth), to O.T. Williams, quarry manager, regarding the composition of theeir gunpowder.
