Pot, coffee and cover
Coffee pot, black basalt, standing on a spreading foot, pear-shaped body, curving ribbed spout with applied leaves around the base, scrolling high loop handle with applied leaves at the shoulder, high round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the 'Widow of Zarapheth' form and a pierced steam hole to one side, around the centre of the exterior body of the coffee pot a frieze of applied groups of classical figures, wide bands of vertical engine-turned reeding around the upper and lower body of the coffee pot and around the sides of the cover, an applied border of scrolls around the top of the cover; the coffee pot and cover glazed.
