Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This is the poorly preserved inhumation burial of an Older Middle Adult (33-45 years) who was probably Male. His remains are in a very poor condition with just the cranium and undiagnostic disarticulated bones suriving. The Five Mile Lane cemetery was so heavily used that many burials were truncated and disturbed to make way for later burials.
The burial is from Phase E: 606-873 AD
His teeth showed signed of Calculus and his bone had Degenerative Joint Disorder.
The burial is associated, by proximity, with SK153 and SK165 In the grave fill (1679) flint flakes were also recovered.
