Full title - The Llandilo Green Slate Co., Clynderwen, South Wales.
Prices and particulars of slates of the Llandilo Green Slate Co., Clynderwen, dated 1st January 1909. The prices given are for ‘green a variegated randoms’, ‘rustic randoms’, and ‘smaller sizes’ of slates. The price list boasts that the Llandilo Green slates are the ‘best weathering slates on the market’, having been tested by Mr R. H. Harry Stanger (Inspecting Engineer to the Crown Agents for the Colonies, the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, the Government of the Cape of Good Hope etc). The price list is printed on cream card, and is folded down the centre. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of slate price lists.
