Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy, buff translucency; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and straight spreading sides; waved lip with six large and six small lobes; painted in orange, green, blue, and pink enamels in the centre with a Chinoiserie style arrangement of flowers and foliage; orange sprigs around the edge; thin brown line around the cavetto, brown band to lip; ( blue enamel crackled )
