Octagonal plate, press moulded, foot ring, cable border picked out in purple lustre, and rim moulded with eight-petalled flower heads. Printed in black with half length portraits of Queen Victoria (right) and Prince Albert (left), side by side. Crudely overpainted in enamels: blue torsos, Queen Victoria with orange frill to dress, yellow beaded crown, and Prince Albert with yellow buttons, belt and epaulettes etc. 'QUEEN VICTORIA AND PRINCE ALBERT' printed underneath.
