Tea bowl and saucer, hard paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared sides, everted lip; decorated in gilt with a group of three chinoiserie figures on one side, one holding a bird, one seated shaking hands with another, tree in centre, four chinoiserie figures opposite, one haolding a bird, one seated leaning on stick tow other standing, one holding an umbrella, both standing on platforms with gilt scroll brackets, gilt border to foot rim, ornamental gilt border to inner lip, spray of leaves to bottom; saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, everted lip; decorated with five chinoiserie figures, one seated leaning on a stick, one kneeling on a seat, three standing, two holding elaborate unbrellas, standing on a platform with gilt scroll bracket, gilt border to lip, underside of lip and foot rim.
