Clogau gold mine, photograph
John Hodgkins (left) and W.J. Houston (right) at Clogau Gold Mine when they were employed there in 1966. The mine tramway can be seen behind them. This was during one of the periodic small-scale reopenings that occurred from the 1950s to the 1970s and which are mostly poorly documented due to the small scale of working and short life of each enterprise.
