ss OCEAN FAME (7174gt) : Built 1942 by Todd-Bath Iron Shipbuilding Corp., Portland, Maine, for MoWT (managed by W H Seager & Co until 1946, then by Sir R Ropner & Co., West Hartlepool. 1947 – Bought by Sir R Ropner & Co., and renamed FIRBY. 1955 – Sold to N G Kyriakides Shipping Co., and renamed IRENE K. 1955 - Acquired by Winchester Shipping Co. It wasn’t until 1958 that she was renamed WINCHESTER QUEEN. She was broken up at Bilbao in 1966.
