Built 1959 by Van der Giessen de Noord NV., Ablasserdam (near Rotterdam), for Crawford Shipping Co. Ltd., Glasgow. 1963 – Sold to Cia. Peruana de Vapores Y Dique del Callao, Peru , and renamed MARANON, 1970 – Sold to a Cypriot owner and renamed IRIS , 1976 – Sold to Felicia Efi Cia Naviera SA, Piraeus (same name). During a storm on 15th February 1979, she became flooded and foundered west of Cape St Vincent, Portugal.
