Tall hat, covered with black beaver silk. Sides of crown lined with paper, top lined with silk, stamped: EXTRA BEST CARVER & CO LATE DALE & CO / THOMAS & EVANS DRAPERS & HATTERS NEWCASTLE EMLYN. Size 6 3/4 and price code marked in pencil on paper lining. Inner lining band of pale green silk (worn) with drawstring. Piece of bobbin lace stitched to brim at later date. No hat band.
