Figure of a soldier on horseback, earthenware, standing on a low rectangular plinth with moulded edge, the figure dressed in military costume with fez and short cloak, one arm is raised but the hand is broken off, a rifle hangs to one side, the horse rears up on its back legs with its forelegs in the air, the ends of both forelegs broken off, one repaired, the body of the horse supported by a rounded moulded pillar rising from a roughly oval moulded base to the centre of the rectangular plinth; covered all over with silver lustre which is dull and worn in places.
