Spill vase
Spill-vase, bone china with a creamy translucency; standing on three ball and claw feet, straight sided foot rim, curving into a cylindrical shape flaring prominently towards the lip, with a ridge above the foot and below the lip, rounded lip with a scalloped gallery; painted with a rose spray with two roses and a rosebud, and a gilt motif consisting of an urn containing a stylised flower, with a large foliate scroll and flower on each side; wide gilt band and two narrower bands above and below with a c-scroll reserve above the roses, inscribed with 'Walk upon' in puce; gilt claw feet, gilt band to the lip's interior.
