Tray, tin-plate, rectangular form with rounded corners and out-curving sides, curved hand-holes to either end; covered all over with a black japan, the entire upper surface painted in shades of gold, silver and bronze with an oriental scene with two figures, pagoda-like buildings and a swan swimming on water.
