Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Figure of a lion, cream-coloured earthenware, standing on a rectangular plinth, the lion has its left front paw resting on a sphere, its head, with flowing mane and open mouth, is turned to the left and its tail is looped up over its back; covered all over with a splashed pink lustre to create a mottled effect, the lustre slightly worn in places. The plinth cracked and repaired, the lion's teeth broken off, the tail appears to be a plaster reconstruction.
