Cup and saucer
Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Cup and saucer, saucer with foot ring with cushion ring above, sides slightly lobed; teacup with foot ring with cushion ring above, handle formed of a C scroll above an angle. Decorated in a light underglaze blue with a continuous transfer pattern, forming a deep border inside the saucer and borders inside and outside the cup: band of shallow jui shaped scales each containing a half flower head around rims above a double band of shaded blue scales (single inside cup) broken by evenly spaced quatrefoile reserves, each containing an oriental flower.
