Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
LINEN CANVAS, embroidered with coloured wools in cross and satin stitches. In the middle are Adam and Eve, the Tree of Knowledge and serpent, the figures of Adam and Eve being named. Above there is a house and to each side are floral, bird, stag, heart and castle designs, almost all in pairs symmetrically arranged. At the bottom is the name "Rebecca Davies". There is a border of a floral wavy stem. About 1840.
