S.S. REGISTAN (7173gt). Built 1947 by J.Readhead & Sons Ltd., South Shields, with triple-expansion steam engine by the builder, for Strick Line Ltd. (part of the P&O Group). 1964 – Sold to Lynnbrook Ltd., Bermuda, and renamed AQUATIC. 1968 – Sold to Natal Shipping Co. SA., Greece, and renamed HERACLES. She was beached at Hong Kong in July 1970 following fire damage. She was refloated, but broken up at Whampoa in August 1970.
