Early Medieval human remains
This is these are the moderately preserved remains of a Younger Middle Adult (25-29 years) who was male. He was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
The burial is from Phase M: 995-1122 AD
His cranium exhibits evidence of blunt force trauma. There sort of injuries can be caused by combat but can also be caused by falls or falling objects.
