Constructed in five sections: brim (padded/quilted over thick cotton cords); cap (frills and lines of piping running across the head from left to right: three 2cm wide frills and four lines of piping); quilted centre back section of cap; neck-shield (double layer of fabric, corners are rounded, outer layer is slightly shorter.
