Ewer (jug), soft-paste porcelain, rococo style with undulating moulded base, broad foot curves into narrower short stem then bulbs outwards and back into a niche, from here jug well begins with gently tapering panelled sides which flare out at top to create a spreading spout and a shaped edge, handle has been moulded into rococo scroll style, there is also four evenly spaced moulded panels on outerside of jug well and four on foot base; panels have been painted in polychrome enamels with naturalistic floral sprays and a pair of green leaves painted in enamel can be found situated at very bottom of jug well; moulding has been followed and picked out in gilt, and there is a gilt dentil edge around base rim; glazed.
