Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An iron press for making the 'Aberaeron' type shovel. It consists of four main p2arts: a shaft, weights, pressing plate and shape-cast. Height: 40"; width: 25"; length of weight: 58"; plate: 21" x 17"; cast: 26.5" x 18". Used by Griff Jenkins at his smithy in Cwrtnewydd, Cardiganshire(Ceredigion).
