Cooking-pot crane
One movement cooking pot crane, from Hendre'r-ywydd, Llangyhafal, Denbighshire, 1800s. Heavy, plain vertical shaft and horizontal arm with scroll and twist decoration. These were common in Wales from the 1600s until the 1950s. They allowed pots to be moved closer or further away from the fire.
