Small swatches of tweed held together at the top with two copper alloy rivets (painted red). A cord for hanging (red cotton?) is knotted around the rivets in the centre of all swatches. On the back, each of the two rivets is covered by an oval piece of black self-adhesive paper.
Self-adhesive paper labels are attached to the front of each fabric swatch: stating the manufacturer (S. Collier & Co. (Wessex) as well as the type, width and weight of each fabric swatch.
The edges are not pinked but cut straight. However, around all four edges, the swatches have little cut notches (2cm apart).
