Jug, earthenware, standing on a flaring foot-rim, globular body, high cylindical neck, bands of ropework moulding around the shoulder and exterior lip-rim, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, loop handle with foliate moulding to the shoulder and lower terminal and further moulding along its length, a beaded edge to the shoulder, raised thumb-spur; the exterior of the jug, the handle, spout and interior neck covered with a patchy pale pink lustre, this then transfer-printed in black with to the exterior body and exterior and interior neck sprays of flowers and foliage, some with fruit, birds and butterflies, around the top and bottom of the neck two printed leaf borders in-filled in green enamel which has now mostly worn off, darker pink lustre bands around the foot-rim and lip-rim and spout, the moulded band around the shoulder highlighted in pink lustre.
