Dessert dish, hybrid-paste porcelain, six-lobed form with tapering rounded foot-rim and rounded curving sides flaring slightly at the rim, one of the lobes to the rim slightly scalloped; the entire interior of the dish painted in gilt and polychrome enamels with a Chinese-style design of prunus blossom with red and gilt flowers and turqoise foliage spreading from the rim to the centre of the well, to the centre of the well a small design of a fence and rocks, to the underside of one of the lobes of the dish a small duck painted in green, brown, black and yellow, a wide gilt band to the rim, gilt anthemions to the scalloped lobe with further gilt markings to the lobes to either side.
