Covered vase, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a square base with a circular, trumpetted foot, circular, stepped body with two goat head handles on either side, domed cover with acorn finial, three geometric ribbon borders to foot, sides and cover; decorated on one side with a landscape, five figures to the right, two ships in centre, one with a red, white and blue flag, two figures in rowing boat to left, opposite a small landscape detail, gilded borders to base, goats, finial and ribbon borders.
