Pannikin of pale red earthenware, standing on an uneven base, flaring sides forming a deep saucer shape then continuing straight with two deep concentric incisions forming a ribbed effect to the upper body, ending with a thick, straight sided lip; horizontal loop handle to one side, moulded to ribbed portion of upper body; exterior having some patches of yellowish, transparent glaze, with the same glazing on interior and handle.
