The wooden hopper is mounted on a wooden base which is fixed on a cast iron framework. Cast iron wheel with handle to motivate horizontal bladed cutter resting on ametal grid. Wooden chute leads from side of hopper. Exterior painted black with wheel and handles highlighted in red; interior of hopper painted white. Rods for holding hopper secure in place on base are missing and have been repalced by wire.
