Casting bottle and cover

Casting bottle, silver, standing on a spreading domed foot, flattened oval 'pilgrim bottle' shape with tall cylindrical neck, perforated domed stopper with crude finial, carrying chain affixed to a ring on each shoulder; the body chased and engraved on each side with strapwork scrolls surrounding a cartouche containing on one side a bird, on the other side a pierced heart, the two faces divided by a pronounced moulded band down each side, the foot engraved with acanthus ornament.
