Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
With short straight shaft (partly fractured away at the bottom, hence the shaft is shorter than it originally would have been) mounted by a rough tenon into a quadrangular pedestal-block. The cross and pedestal are decorated with carved ornament in low relief.
Site Name: St Mary's Church, Margam
Notes: the original stone was first noted as standing outside the churchyard in 1779 and was subsequently moved into the ruins of Margam Abbey. It is now housed in Margam Stones Museum.
