Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Spill vase in the form of a fanciful building, white earthenware with a slightly blue tinted crackle glaze, on a round edged rectangular base with a gilt line round. Castle like structure of buff coloured stonework, two octagonal crenellated towers, with orange interiors, on either side of a high pointed gable, band of ogee shaped blind arcading around the top of each tower, the base of each octagonal tower ornamented with blind arcading of dots and crosses. Towers each containing two blank rectangular windows over a narrow arched pale blue window crossed with red diamond leading. Central gable containing a large arched five light window outlined in gilt and within a gilt arch terminating in gilt masks. Flight of steps outlined in gilt leading up to a large centrally placed, arched door, surrounded by green foliage and with a brown knocker and black metal straps. Entire building edged in purple/red/green extruded foliage. Damage on top of gable.
