Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Teapot and cover, unglazed red stoneware, press-moulded hexagonal body, domed shoulder and cover with dog of Fo knop, six-sided loop handle and scroll spout. Both sides of the pot bear three similar chinoiserie relief panels of figures on a square maze pattern ground, comprising a wide central panel of a standing woman beside a boy in a vase, and narrower flanking panels of a woman and a leaping boy and of an elderly man seated under a tree with two long-tailed birds perched in its top branches. The shoulder and lid bear relief arched borders. The handle and spout are moulded with relief Chinese fretwork patterns.
