Tureen and cover, porcelain, octagonal with a high flared foot, curved sides rising to a thickened rim, a hare's head handle at each end, the domed cover with a rococo knop; enamelled decoration on each side of a male and a female peacock standing on rocks, a large peony and other flowers, flowers on the cover, the handles and knop enamelled in orange-red and with some gilding, borders in gold outlined in orange-red of daggers round the foot and knop, latticework motifs round the rim and the edge of the cover.
