Tray, tin-plate, almost square oblong form with raised out-curved sides and rounded corners, a raised centre; covered with a black japan to the underside and a dark crimson japan to the upperside, decorated with two lines around the centre and around the rim a border of panelled rosettes and stars, in pencilled green and in silver to which the varnish as given a golden tinge.
