(1791gt) : N3-S-A2 type vessel built 1945 by McCloskey & Co., Tampa Shipyards, Tampa, Florida, for the US Maritime Commission for lease-lend to the UK. 1947 - Sold to Nationalist China and renamed TENG 1401, and later that year CHIAO JEN. On 30th July 1949, Nationalist troop-carrier CHIAO JEN was towed to Hong Kong after striking a mine 22 miles west of Hong Kong. Later - "NAN-HAI 163" (?stricken 1967?) She was reported scrapped in 1982.
