Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Scallop shell found during excavations of the National Roman Legion Museum site in the 1980s. These were deposited in a disused well along with a wide variety of refuse including 50 perfectly preserved oyster shells and preserved leather off-cuts (also on display in the museum).
